All you need is some plastic pumpkins, paint, baking soda, and sponge brushes. In order to get the rugged texture, I used a good amount of baking soda mixed in with the paint and dabbed the paint mixture onto to the pumpkins. Once the pumpkins had dried slightly, I sprinkled baking soda all over the pumpkins and brushed off any excess.
